Building an industrial workshop is a massive capital expenditure. You need an open floor plan for your machinery, structural integrity to support heavy overhead cranes, and you need the building operational fast. Traditional concrete buildings take too long, cost too much in foundation work, and limit your internal space with thick supporting columns.
Hyson’s Pre-engineered Steel Structure Workshops are designed to solve this. Fabricated in our 20,000 sqm facility in Nantong, every steel beam and column is cut, welded, drilled, and painted before it ever ships to your site. By turning construction into an assembly process, we drastically cut down your project timeline. Whether you need a simple logistics warehouse or a heavy manufacturing plant, we engineer the skeleton of your business to last 50+ years.
Engineering & Design Reality
We don't sell "off-the-shelf" buildings. Every location has a different climate, and every factory has a different workflow. Here is how we ensure your building works for you:
- True Clear-Span Design (No Columns): We design rigid frames that can span up to 40-50 meters without a single internal column. This means 100% usable floor space for your forklifts, production lines, and material storage.
- Crane-Ready Engineering: Heavy manufacturing needs heavy lifting. Tell us the tonnage of your overhead crane (e.g., 5-ton, 20-ton, or 50-ton), and we will engineer the structural columns and crane runway beams (corbels) to handle the dynamic load safely.
- Climate-Specific Load Calculation: A building in a hurricane zone needs different engineering than one in a heavy snow region. We calculate local wind speeds, snow loads, and seismic grades before cutting a single piece of steel.
- Site Assembly, Zero Site Welding: All components are connected using high-strength bolts (Grade 8.8 or 10.9). No welding is required on your job site. This means faster erection, lower labor costs, and no reliance on local weather conditions or skilled welders.

Quality Control You Can See
A steel building is only as strong as its weakest weld. At Hyson, we treat structural integrity as a matter of life and death.
- Submerged Arc Welding (SAW): Primary H-beams are welded automatically to ensure deep, uniform penetration.
- Non-Destructive Testing (NDT): We use Ultrasonic Testing (UT) on critical weld seams to guarantee there are no hidden flaws, cracks, or air pockets inside the steel joints.
- Shot Blasting for Paint Adhesion: Before painting, all steel is shot-blasted to Sa2.5 standard. This removes mill scale and rust, ensuring our anti-corrosion primer bites into the steel and stays there for decades.
