Our Formwork Tie Rod System is a critical component for modern concrete construction. Designed to securely hold formwork panels in place against the lateral pressure of wet concrete, this system ensures structural integrity, precise wall thickness, and safety during pouring. Whether for heavy civil engineering, bridges, tunnels, or high-rise buildings, our tie rod system offers high load-bearing capacity and easy on-site assembly.
Features & Benefits
- High Tensile Strength:Manufactured from high-grade steel (e.g., Q235, 45#, PSB830) to withstand loads ranging from 80KN to 190KN+.
- Dywidag Thread Design:The continuous coarse thread allows for self-cleaning of concrete residue and ensures quick fastening and removal of nuts.
- Versatile Compatibility:Fully compatible with all major formwork systems, including steel frame, aluminum, and timber plywood formwork.
- Durable & Reusable:Available in Galvanized or Black finishes for corrosion resistance, extending the product lifespan for multiple uses.
System Components
1. Tie Rod / Tie Bar
The core of the system. A cold-rolled or hot-rolled threaded bar used to tie formwork together.
2. Wing Nut / Anchor Nut
Featuring large wings for hammer-tightening without special tools. It secures the tie rod against the formwork walers.
3. Waler Plate / Washer
A steel plate used to spread the load of the nut over a wider area, preventing damage to the formwork frame.
4. Water Stop / Water Barrier
Used in water-retaining structures (e.g., basements, tanks). It features a central disc to prevent water seepage along the tie rod.
5. Concrete Cones & PVC Tubes
Accessories used to protect the tie rod (allowing for removal) and ensure correct wall thickness.
